Well the Chimes are absolutely beautiful, the sound is like music never offensive like some can be. I had several last minute requests and I got a reply on a Sunday telling me not to worry. Most chimes really don't have a pleasant sound, or it takes a horrific windstorm just to hear the chimes. The purple color I ordered arrived, packaged securely, and lovely engraving. I put it outside because a breeze was blowing and I didn't hear a chime. I started to feel sad that this one was like all the others, except wait ....it got windier and by evening my little wind chime was singing with the wind. I was so happy and now I enjoy hearing the chime that it makes.
