BuyChimes is a family business, as many of you know. We began in 2002, the brainchild of Mark and Ellen Heatwole, the original owners of the business.  They envisioned a way to offer quality, U.S.-made wind chimes to the broader public through the internet.  They brought vision and creativity to the online marketplace through the use of quality pictures and sound files on each chime, a novel marketing idea at the time.

In 2007, we (Jeff and Carolyn Strong) purchased the business from the Heatwoles. They were good friends, and still are! Our partnership has defied the "never do business with a friend" mantra. We learned and grew the business over the past decade - all the while keeping true to our core goal of offering quality, U.S.-made wind chimes to the internet customer.

It's been a pleasure to marry our talents of business, marketing, technology, customer service, and management and see the results on a daily basis here at BuyChimes.  When you call in, you most often get me, Carolyn, on the phone. I manage the day-to-day workings of the business. Jeff's in the background advising, guiding, and keeping the technology side of things running smoothly.

And like any business, we have ideas for the future and plans for growth!  We love getting customer feedback (thank you for your reviews and  emails/calls with opinions!), and are incorporating that feedback into our future.
